It is an exciting time within Fostering for Birmingham Children’s Trust as we have now moved to an Independent Fostering Agency.

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Senior Practitioner to join the Birmingham Children’s Trust Fostering Agency to support us in driving forward the development and innovative service that is striving towards excellence.

You will be primarily based within Fostering Support but you should have also have an enthusiasm and expertise in working with prospective Foster Carers at all stages of the recruitment and assessment process.

You should have extensive experience of working within a Childrens and Fostering setting.

The role will be a combination of holding some complex cases as well as supervising staff within the fostering support team. You will also deputise for the Team Manager; as and when required. You will be required to support the agency in the ongoing developments and improvements in striving to deliver an excellent service for the foster carers and in the provision of high quality of care for the children looked after.
